Story
Amid the bitter discord between the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, two sisters fight on rival sides in a war between magical technologies and conflicting beliefs. Check out the actors behind some of your favorite movies and animated series, including Ella Purnell in Arcane. Fortiche Productions made a music video for Riot in 2013 called “Get Jinxed,” which featured Jinx and the city of Piltover. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took them several years to complete. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that production would take less time.

With Imagine Dragons and J.I.D., League of Legends (LoL)’s first project in expanding its cinematic universe is complete. The story between sisters, rich and poor, loyalty and betrayal, peace and war, and everything in between. There’s a common saying that League’s big budget was invested in animation instead of balancing the champions in the game, and that couldn’t be more true. I didn’t expect this masterful level of animation.
The fight scenes were strong and breathtaking
After each episode, they found more ways to delight the audience with amazing images and transitions. Even if the series wasn’t entirely in line with the original story, it is still an intense story that created an interesting universe. I’m not going to lie, the first act didn’t impress me much, but the following episode 4 completely hooked me. My only problem with the story was that I couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted more and I don’t like waiting.
Just as beautiful as the animation were the characters
Many of the character dynamics intrigued me and made me realize how much I needed them. I’ll admit that some characters were easy, but not all of them were predictable. Some still surprised me right up until the end. The directions for all of the characters were amazing. Although the game was a love/hate relationship, on the whole Arcane was definitely love and a phenomenal step in building LOLCU.
